- Engaged in the core group of the
European Technology Platform ‘Food for Life’ (http://etp.ciaa.be)
Coordinating the international work group on ‘Food Chain Management’ - Coordinating different European chain projects with focus on chain analysis, chain quality organization, and chain trust in a variety of food sectors (meat, cereals, fruits & vegetables etc.)
- Cooperating with Wageningen University in the organization of an international network of centers for chain research (a.o. from Brazil, China, Australia)
- Coordinating a graduate study program on quality management (‘Quality Manager junior’) in cooperation with German Association for Quality Assurance
- Coordinating the Rhine Food Cooperation Platform, a joint PPP project initiative in collaboration with Wageningen University that brings together the rich research potential of the region with the food industry accumulation in the Rhine valley and its surroundings.
